Dear Families,
It’s time!
After 45 years as a speech pathologist, 34 years at Building Bridges and the last 10+ years as Clinical Director, I am preparing to retire at the end of August. As I look back, I find myself reflecting with gratitude on the journey we have shared.
The greatest honor of my professional life has been to serve your children and you, as we worked together in both challenging and celebratory times.
Throughout the years, I have witnessed your children in many incredible moments of growth, resilience, and success. Having met many of your children in their earliest years, I find it particularly rewarding to have watched them grow up. I have been continually inspired by their courage and perseverance, as well as your parental determination and drive to advocate for them. As I move into retirement I carry a lifetime of treasured memories, and lessons learned from you.
I step away with confidence that your children will continue to flourish in the capable hands at Building Bridges. Stephanie Naberhaus, the owner and a licensed speech pathologist, will take the lead as Clinical Director. She will be available to support you, offer guidance, and provide a listening ear whenever you need encouragement.
Finally, from my heart, THANK YOU for your trust and the privilege of being part of your lives. I will forever cherish this remarkable journey at Building Bridges.
May you always have PRIDE in what your child is accomplishing, JOY along the journey, and HOPE for what is to come.
Thank you,
Janice Pagano MA, CCC, SLP
Clinical Director
A safe and confidential space to share your experiences about parenting a child with varying ability. We'll support processing these experiences as well as parenthood commonalities such as life balance, feelings of failure, burnout, and guilt. As we gather interested parents, we will start groups, based on timing/availability. A personal one-on-one session will help map out your individual areas of need, help map-out the needs of the group, and allow parents to utilize the benefit of insurance to cover the cost. Private pay option also available.
