During this challenging time, Building Bridges is keeping the health and safety of both clients and staff at the forefront of our operations. Therefore, we do not allow public entry to the center. Please see the links below to view our Visitor Policy, and other COVID related information.
There are many challenges with the current pandemic, especially with school closures and social distancing. Children, parents and others in the house all are dealing with anxiety and adapting to changes and the unknown. Our psychology team is available for new clients for remote therapy (covered by most insurance plans). At this time, we are offering both in-person and telehealth for counseling and many other therapy services.
We have all been saddened to see the pain and suffering as America wrestles with issues of racism. This is something that has had a great impact on us at Building Bridges. Being a person with special needs intersects in a powerful way with race and brings with it unique risks and challenges. The implications of race are amplified for individuals with communication challenges or behavioral issues. Click here for our complete statement on racial equality and special needs.
