Building Bridges welcomes and directly supports Clinical Fellows!
Our dedicated supervision not only provides the required elements for full licensure and certification, we work closely with CFs to ensure a successful and thorough first year
We partner with with multiple university programs to offer a well-rounded and valuable internship experience. Our goal is to help each student be as prepared as possible for their Clinical Fellowship, and a provider that we would want to hire on our team!
Several local SLP programs include observation as part of their admission requirements. We are happy to welcome potential students to our center to see what we do!
Gain valuable experience while working a part-time schedule. This challenging and rewarding position involves working directly with kids on the autism spectrum to develop a variety of skills. The skills gained and utilized through the paid training and DLT work experience will help you to be more successful in any career, and looks great on a resume! Many of our DLTs are students in therapies, psychology and education.
Opportunities for students in Occupational Therapy programs
Our team has welcomed several L2 interns...many whom have been hired right here at Building Bridges after graduation!
Our program offers exposure to both clinical and school session, to provide a well-rounded pediatric experience. Please be sure to contact your fieldwork coordinator to confirm Building Bridges is on their list of approved fieldwork sites. If not, have them contact us about making that happen.
Though a shorter exposure, Level One fieldwork allows students to take a snapshot of a variety of settings. We welcome the opportunity to show you how we make a difference every day! Check with your university to confirm Building Bridges is on their approved site list.
For students in local OT programs, out co-op position allows for direct exposure to our programs, while observing and supporting our therapists. Duties include (but are not limited to: feeding program shopping/organization, session materials preparation and much more.
